The return of Coco Campaner
Last Saturday, November 22, we witnessed one of the most notable fights of the event held at the Germán Escalas Sports Center. After some time away from the spotlight, both Manuel Medrano and Vicente “Coco” Campaner returned to the ring with excitement, hard work, and a tremendous amount of heart.
The bout, scheduled for 4 rounds of 3 minutes, brought together two boxers with very different styles:
two ways of understanding boxing, two ways of expressing themselves inside the ring…
but one shared reality: both demonstrated character, experience, and a deep respect for the sport.
Coco, who once again represented our Club Deportivo Megasport Centre, arrived well-prepared alongside his coaches Juanito García and Rolando Pérez, under the official sponsorship of Megasport Centre. His performance in the ring reflected the effort, consistency, and passion with which he approaches every bout.
Although victory went to Manuel Medrano, we want to highlight the great work done by Coco. His attitude, his commitment in every exchange, and his ability to compete with courage left very good impressions in an intense and hard-fought duel.
