MEGASPORT COMMUNITY AT HYROX BARCELONA

Megasport Community at HYROX Barcelona

This weekend saw the celebration of a new edition of HYROX Barcelona, one of the most important events on the national calendar, once again bringing together hundreds of athletes in a demanding format that combines running with standardized functional exercises.

Megasport had a particularly strong presence, with a large representation of members competing across different categories, showcasing the high level of preparation being developed within the club. Beyond the results, the event once again highlighted something that has already become part of everyday life at the club: the creation of a strong, committed, and constantly growing HYROX community.

Megasport’s HYROX group continues to establish itself as a meeting point for athletes of all levels, united by the same goal: to improve, share the journey, and enjoy functional training with a competitive mindset. Trips like the one to Barcelona strengthen this bond. It is not only about competing, but also about supporting one another throughout the process, sharing preparation, nerves, results, and lessons learned. This sense of unity is one of the defining characteristics of the HYROX community being built within Megasport.

Megasport is therefore reinforcing its role as a leading HYROX reference center in Mallorca, not only through its training programs and official events, but also through the sporting culture being created around performance and personal growth.

Among the most notable results from the competition were the following placements achieved by teams formed by Megasport members:

· Women’s Relay +40
1st Place
Team formed by: Raquel Sánchez, Susana Coll, and Mercedes Ferrando

· Men’s Relay +40
3rd Place
Team formed by: David Pérez, Javier García, Francisco Soler, and Dario Olivares

· Men’s Relay -40
2nd Place
Team formed by: Lucas Perelló and Fernando Martorell

The Megasport HYROX community continues to grow, combining structured training, technical support, and a shared culture of effort that is turning every competition into a collective experience.

The goal remains clear: to continue developing well-prepared athletes, build community, and position Megasport as a benchmark for functional and competitive training in Mallorca.
